About EPA's Deputy Assistant Administrator for Mission Support
Andrew Schreyer
Andrew Schreyer joins EPA’s Office of Mission Support as the Deputy Assistant Administrator for Mission Support. He recently served on the Biden for President campaign, where he was the National Operations Director. He joined the campaign before launch to set up the campaign’s infrastructure and has led the team winding down operations since election day. His team oversaw state operations, hiring and recruitment, travel, facilities, payroll, taxes, and insurance. When COVID-19 hit, he led the campaign’s pivot to remote working; his team had to rethink the campaign’s operations to continue supporting the national campaign in a virtual world. Prior to the campaign, Schreyer worked at Everytown for Gun Safety, an organization working to reduce gun violence in America, focused on increasing organizational efficiencies for hiring and budgeting. He managed national field operations at Mesmerize Marketing, served as the Operations and Systems Manager on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign at her Brooklyn headquarters, and worked in data analytics for Oakland-based rooftop-solar startup Sungevity.
