LSLR Financing Case Study: Galesburg, IL

Using $4 million from Drinking Water State Revolving funds, Galesburg Water is in the process of the replacing up to 1,000 of the 3,000 privately owned lead service lines (LSL).

The city also offers free water testing to homes and has an online "Lead Service Lookup" tool that allows homeowners to check if they are served by a LSL.
