What is the Infrastructure Needs Survey and Assessment?
Every four years, EPA works with states and community water systems to estimate the DWSRF eligible needs of systems by state.
The assessment of need is for 20 years from the time of the survey. The assessment results in a report to Congress and is the basis for allotting DWSRF grant monies to states.
