Introduction
Version 5.1.3 of the OTAQ Registration System (OTAQREG) introduces the electronic registration functionality for feedstock aggregators. This impacts entities that produce renewable fuel feedstock from Used Cooking Oil (as prescribed in 40 CFR 80.1454), renewable fuel producers, and biointermediate producers.
Functionality for Industry Users
Feedstock Aggregator Company and Facility Electronic Registration
Feedstock aggregator companies can register their company and facility information including adding new company business activities, facility business activities, and feedstock aggregator/production information.
Renewable fuel producers can indicate which RFS pathways contain feedstocks supplied by a feedstock aggregator and biointermediate producers can indicate which biointermediate products contain feedstocks supplied by a feedstock aggregator.
Active companies can update their registrations in OTAQREG to add new or update existing facilities with the feedstock aggregator business activity in addition to other already registered business activities.
Renewable Fuel Producer Association with Feedstock Aggregator
A renewable fuel producer can associate with a feedstock aggregator to indicate that the RFS pathway being used by the renewable fuel producer contains a feedstock supplied by a feedstock aggregator. Renewable fuel producer company users will be able to view feedstock aggregator associations.
Biointermediate Producer Association with Feedstock Aggregator
A biointermediate producer can associate with a feedstock aggregator to indicate that the qualified renewable biomass feedstock being used by the biointermediate producer is supplied by a feedstock aggregator. Biointermediate producer company users will be able to view feedstock aggregator associations.
Functionality for EPA Admin Users
Add Ability to Set a Flag to Denote if a Feedstock Can be Supplied by a Feedstock Aggregator
For the user logged in with the EPA Admin role, a flag can be added to a feedstock code by answering the question, “Can be supplied by Feedstock Aggregator?" when creating a new feedstock code or editing an existing feedstock code from the Reference Code Management screen in OTAQREG.
