It is EPA's standard process to update the Inventory of U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks (GHG Inventory) when relevant new and improved data are available.

On February 26, 2019, EPA held a stakeholder webinar that provided an overview of the 2019 GHG Inventory Public Review draft emissions for natural gas and petroleum systems, and the webinar slides are available here:
October 17, 2018 Workshop
On October 17, 2018, EPA held a stakeholder workshop on greenhouse gas (GHG) data for natural gas and petroleum systems from the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) and Inventory of U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks (GHG Inventory).
At the workshop, EPA presented on GHGRP data and held a discussion on burden reduction opportunities. EPA also presented information on the GHG Inventory, including on updates under consideration.
