This is the third five-year review (FYR) for the Shaw Avenue Dump Site (Site) and is required due to contamination remaining above levels that allow for unlimited use and unrestricted exposure. The Site is located on the southeastern edge of Charles City, Iowa, approximately 600 feet from the Cedar River, near the intersection of Shaw Avenue and Clark Street. The Site is owned by the city of Charles City, occupies approximately 24 acres of the Cedar River 100-year floodplain, and had been operat
