BOONE, N.C. (Oct. 29, 2024) – On Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, Acting U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Regional Administrator Jeaneanne Gettle will join Boone, N.C. Mayor Tim Frutelle and senior officials from North Carolina state and local agencies to provide updates on water sampling and restoration efforts in Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene.
