EPA Renews Biotechnology Innovation Efforts Under New Executive Order

Today, President Biden signed a new Executive Order: Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Innovation for a Sustainable, Safe, and Secure American Bioeconomy.
Under the new Executive Order, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are renewing efforts to improve the clarity and efficiency of regulatory processes for biotechnology products. These efforts aim to facilitate innovative solutions for challenges in agriculture, climate change, energy, food security and health.
