Emissions-Related Recalls of Light-Duty Cars and Trucks
Use the application below to determine if your light-duty car or truck has been subject to an emissions-related recall (starting with model year 1999). Before you search, gather the following information from your vehicle: (not all of this information is needed, but it will help narrow your search results)
- Test Group name. (The Test Group name includes a decimal number, such as 2.0 or 3.4, and can be found on the Vehicle Emissions Label: Locating the Vehicle Emissions Label)
- The Make, Model, and Model Year
- The Engine Size (in liters)
Please note that recalls do not always include every vehicle of a certain make or model. For example: sometimes there is a specific build date range when a manufacturing defect occurred; only vehicles build within that date range would be affected. Also please be aware that this list does not track whether or not a recall repair? has previously been performed on your vehicle.
Please contact your local dealership to confirm if your vehicle has an open recall.
To search for recalls for emissions-related defects that your vehicle might be subject to, apply the appropriate filters below before clicking on the “search” button. Note that the “search” button will not be activated until you have at least selected a make and a model. In the resulting data tables, if there are fields with more characters than the cell can show, hover over the cell to see all the information in a tooltip.
For non-emissions recalls, such as safety, please check with your manufacturer or NHTSA.gov
