On April 20th, 2018, Valerie Zartarian and Thomas Speth presented an overview of EPA's innovative exposure-dose modeling approach that can be used to better understand the relationship between drinking water lead concentrations and children’s blood lead levels. Drinking water and other sources of lead are the subject of public health concerns in US cities. EPA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Academy of Pediatrics agree that there is no known safe level of lead in a child’s blood.
