Small Business Innovation Research Webinar Archive
This webinar, recorded on July 21, 2021, focused on Small Business Innovation Research. The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program is a federal program that supports the development and commercialization of novel technologies.
EPA’s SBIR Program has an annual funding cycle to support projects in areas which include clean and safe water, air and climate, homeland security, land revitalization, sustainable materials management, safer chemicals and risk assessment. SBIR could provide states and tribes a source of novel technologies to solve pressing environmental problems. In addition, small businesses often are looking for local partnerships that could help them demonstrate or otherwise get their technologies into the hands of end users. This webinar provides some examples of EPA SBIR “success stories” - existing and developing technologies in areas of potential interest to states and tribes.
