The seventh Five Year Review of the site remedy protectiveness is currently underway, with completion slated for late September 2023. The Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection (KDEP) is now responsible for operations and maintenance at the site. Because sampling has indicated that the gas venting system is no longer needed, KDEP will remove the venting equipment in spring 2023.
