RTOC Brownfields/Site Response Working Group

Originally developed to explore the idea of developing site response program MOUs between EPA and specific tribes, the Working Group changed its focus to providing a series of training on the four core elements of a CERCLA 128(a) program.  Developing these core elements will provide the necessary foundation for tribes interested in considering a program MOU with EPA.  To date, the following training sessions have been conducted:

  • Overview of the CERCLA 128(a) Core Elements
  • Element 1: Timely Survey and Inventory of Sites and the Public Record
  • Element 2: Oversight and Enforcement Authorities
  • Element 3: Public Participation
