November: Environmental Responsibility and Health

The Meramec and Big River Urban Waters Partnership partnered with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and a local alumni chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority to connect St. Louis City residents to water, recycling, and health advocacy. Beginning as an idea to bring electronic recycling to an underserved population of St. Louis, MO, this event has grown into a larger Environmetal Responsibility and Health event. The event focused on the concept that recycling promotes clean water and clean water promotes good health. In total, 14 groups cam out to serve and connect with the community.
