Project Description
SFPUC will replace its existing, outdated solids treatment facilities with new biosolids digester facilities. The new facilities are designed to produce higher-quality Class A biosolids, capture and treat odors more effectively, and maximize biogas utilization and energy recovery. This project will provide a new, efficient solids treatment system, ensure treatment reliability by meeting current seismic standards and improving standard operations, and reduce the impact on the adjacent community by providing advanced odor control.
