CAA Part 71 Air Operating Permits in EPA's South Central Region
The CAA in Part 71 sets forth the comprehensive Federal air quality operating permit program. EPA issues Title V operating permits under Part 71 for:
- Indian Country;
- Outer Continental Shelf (beyond the State’s seaward boundaries);
- EPA’s objection to a state issued part 70 operating permit and the state does not fully respond to EPA’s objections; and,
- A state’s Part 70 Operating Permit Program that is expired or withdrawn.
Permit applications and other permitting related documents for submittal to Region 6 may be sent electronically in a searchable Portable Document Format (PDF) or Microsoft Word, excel, or other database documents by email.
