What is Continuous Improvement
Continuous improvement, sometimes called continual improvement, is the ongoing improvement of products, services or processes through incremental and breakthrough improvements. These efforts can seek "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once.
Office of Continuous Improvement
OCI, which is located within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, coordinates agency-wide implementation of the continuous improvement program and Lean Management System. It is a system that enables the agency to track important actions so that we respond to and resolve challenges quickly and thoroughly, using Lean principles and tools.
