What types of products does WaterSense label?
WaterSense has developed specifications for several plumbing and irrigation products. Visit our products section to see if the product you are interested is included.
How can I find out if a specific product is labeled?
Please visit our Product Search Tool to look for a specific labeled product model. If you require additional assistance, please email the WaterSense Helpline ([email protected]) with the product type, brand name, and model number, of the product in question.
I make a product that WaterSense labels. How can I get my product labeled?
Manufacturers must obtain all WaterSense-related product certifications from an EPA licensed certifying body that is accredited to provide certification services for WaterSense. EPA maintains a comprehensive list of certifying bodies that are licensed under the product certification system. You may also want to review detailed information on the product certification process.
I have a product (or an idea for a product) that WaterSense does not currently label. How can I get WaterSense to label my new product?
WaterSense is always interested in collecting information and data that will help the program determine if it is appropriate to develop a specification to label a product category. Please review our resource page that describes the factors we consider, the process we follow, and the types of information we need to support our decisions.
Rebates
How do I get my rebate? Or where is my rebate?
WaterSense provides rebate information but does not administer rebates for products. If you are looking for more information about a rebate or rebate program for WaterSense labeled products, please contact your local water provider or local government. If you want to confirm that a product is WaterSense labeled, first check the Product Search Tool.
I am a water utility that wants to add or update information for your rebate search tool. How do I do that?
Please contact the WaterSense Helpline and somebody will follow up with you to get the required information.

How does my organization become a WaterSense partner?
WaterSense partners with manufacturers, retailers and distributors, utilities, local and state governments, professional certification programs, builders, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations. I have a concern about my water bill. Can WaterSense help me?
Our Understanding Your Water Bill page explains the general information that may be included on a water bill. Please contact your local water provider for assistance with your specific bill.
How do I report water waste in my community?
Please contact your local water provider or local government. WaterSense does not enforce conservation requirements, building codes, or policies.
Can I use the materials found on the WaterSense website?
Yes, all WaterSense content is available for public use. As a federal agency, any WaterSense documents that EPA publishes are in the public domain, and written permission is not required. If you use a WaterSense statistic, we ask that you please cite “EPA WaterSense” as the source in your publications.
