2018 Final Aquatic Life Criteria for Aluminum in Freshwater

The EPA has released updated 2018 Final Aquatic Life Ambient Water Quality Criteria for Aluminum in Freshwater under Section 304(a)(1) of the Clean Water Act. States and authorized tribes can adopt these recommended criteria into water quality standards to protect against harmful effects of aluminum on aquatic life. The criteria also includes an Aluminum Criteria Calculator V2.0 (xlsm) and an Aluminum Criteria Calculator R Code and Data V2.0 (zip) .
