Overview:
The Coastal Nonpoint Pollution Control Program, established by Section (§)6217 of the Coastal Zone Act Reauthorization Amendments, addresses nonpoint source pollution problems in coastal waters. §6217 requires states and territories with approved Coastal Zone Management Programs to develop Coastal Nonpoint Pollution Control Programs. In its program, a state or territory describes how it will implement nonpoint source pollution controls, known as management measures. This program is administered jointly with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Primarily intended for state and local watershed project staff to comply with requirements under CZARA.
